We were never part of the cool gang at school who seemed to pull off anything fashionable with ease.

In fact, our chief vintage voyager Katy Jo had pretty big bosoms and nothing from the 90’s looked that great and her 80’s clothing hand-me-downs didn’t do her curvy frame justice.

So it came to be – our fascination with vintage clothing. Those lovely ladies from the fifties seemed to look glamorous and feminine wth curves and bag loads of charm.

So, with our pocket money budgets we decided to hit the charity shops…then as we got older the markets in Camden and Portabello and then with passports and full time jobs, those little boutiques in Paris!

Inspired by all things from a bygone era and trying to get that cute fifties look for a party one evening, we needed a ‘how to’ guide on the world of vintage. Hairstyles to be exact.

And so with more parties in the offing and a big love of burlesque balooning we have decided to share our venture into How to do Vintage incase more people would like to share in our discoveries.

We will endeavour to scour the web for news and views on all things vintage and retro, as we go on a quest to find the best blogs, stores, events and shops to indulge in adding vintage glamour to our lives!
