How to do a 1960’s Beehive Hairstyle

If you are getting a bit bored of the super-sleek-poker -straight-neat look and fancy doing a better job than Amy Winehouse – how about trying a beehive to get it out of your system!

Sported by stars such as Dusty Springfield and Audrey Hepburn’s character in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the beehive became a household style staple in the 1960’s.

We love this tutorial from WonderHowToBeauty by stylist Damon Hamilton – nice modern twist to the beehive which would be great for a themed party and awesome back combing action!

Caution ladies and gents…you may need help to do this one…and an awful lot of hairspray, close those eyes now…

Let us know how you get on…toodle pip!
