How to Revive a Fabric Corsage

We love using pretty fabric corsages to add a bit of colour to an outfit. They instantly feminise a little black dress and can add a little cheer to a dull day.

Here’s our latest modern addition to the growing collection; a purple satin double flower from Accessorize.

But what can a girl do when her corsage goes a little droopy…like ours did after two days in a suitcase?

The answer - spray starch!

Hold your corsage by the pin/clip and hold your spray starch approx 30cm away.

Lightly spray around the corsage, but not directly onto it – this ensures you don’t swamp the petals.

Whilst the spray starch is still damp, arrange your corsage petals in a less droopy fashion.

If possible hang up or hold your corsage until spray starch is dry.

Hey presto – corsage revived!

Now, it might not sound glamorous, but its very little hard work and your corsage (and you) are revived to be admired another day…
