    Bonjour Kathy,

I will just list you some of my favourite places in Paris !

For Vintage I would recommend to go the fleamarket at Porte de Clignancourt, it is composed of multiples little markets. I like Marche Paul Bert, Dauphine, Biron,Serpette. It is open Friday/Saturday/ Sunday only.See the site below for more information:
http://www.parispuces.com/en/Default.asp ( in the search engine type Vintage you will have the lists of shops selling anything vintage ).

    Galerie Vivienne : http://www.galerie-vivienne.com/
Galerie Vero Dodat ( in the 1st ) : Christian Louboutin shop there
A lot of nice shops ( art gallery, bookshop …) always like to wander around there

Palais Royal ( not far from the Louvres ) : would love to live there !
Cour Carree du Louvres : go there in the evening but not too late as it is closed I think at 10pm, the buildings are beautifully lit and it gives a magical feeling.
    Place Dauphine
    Jardins du Luxembourg
Place Des Vosges ( a lot of shops you will like there )

You may be interested to go to the shop La Droguerie – rue du Jour 75001 : if you want to find beads to make jewellery, great choice of buttons, and for knitting as well.
If you stop there go to the church St Eustache one the oldest in Paris, it has one of the best organ in France. Free concert every sunday !! Not jazz sorry
And just next to it, go to Montorgueil food market ( that’s one of the thing I miss the most in England it is the typical French food market).

Jazz : Caveau de la Huchettte in the Latin Quarter, I went there a long time ago so cannot say if this is worth it.

To discover Paris, my best advice is to walk !!

    Bon sejour

    Ariane
