With some brilliant voices and strong 1940’s style harmonies – the Puppini Sisters were a brilliant find!
We first heard them on their album ‘Betcha Bottom Dollar’ which includes great arrangements of classics such as Pat Ballard’s Mr. Sandman, originally recorded by The Chordettes in 1954. It also includes one of our favourites ‘Jeepers Creepers’, originally written by Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer and premiered by Louis Armstrong in the 1938 film Going Places.
We finally get to see them live, as they are touring the UK.
Check out ‘Millionaire’ from their new album The Rise and Fall of Ruby Woo…love the line ‘Look for my Limousine, once more its not there.’ …always seem have that problem of a morning…!
